Limerick Contest:

Form: Limerick: a 5-line stanza, rhyme scheme is aabba, meter is basically anapestic:
first, second and fifth lines are anapestic trimeter (3 poetic feet: – -/ – -/ – - -/); the
third and fourth lines are anapestic dimeter (2 poetic feet: – -/ – -/). Last line may
be longer. Some poets, esp. Ogden Nash, chose to make his fifth line longer than
any of the others.
Theme: Anything humorous, even slightly bawdy.
Line limit: 5
