The Poetry Society of Colorado (PSC), a non-profit organization, was chartered in Denver in 1921. It has a long history of promoting the art of poetry in the metropolitan Denver area and throughout Colorado.

We are a society of creative writers devoted to the art of poetry, meeting monthly in workshops to hone our skills. Visitors are welcome at workshop meetings.

PSC sponsors a number of contests each year. The Quarterly Contests are for to members only. All Open  Contests are available to all and are offered on a rotational basis. The Ann Woodbury Hafen Contest and the Remembering Poets Contest are offered on alternate years. The youth contests are open (no age limit).
