The Poetry Society of Colorado (PSC) is a historic institution in Colorado. It was first organized in 1921 to "cultivate the love of poetry and to encourage poetic talent throughout the state.” This statement was later simplified to “promote the study, writing, and performance of poetry in Colorado.”
We are an organization of individuals of many different vocations, interests and lifestyles. The PSC does not and shall not discriminate based on race, color, religion, gender, age or sexual orientation in any of its activities or operations. We are committed to providing an inclusive environment for all poets. We welcome all poets and support those who are writing at all levels of poetic development.
The PSC meets the third Saturday of each month. We have a combination of in-person and Zoom online meetings for our members to attend. A workshop is presented at most meetings. Learn more about our upcoming events.
